A slow archive of British rail — depot logs, platform edges, class numbers scratched into weathered paint. We ride the network not to arrive, but to record. Updated when the timetable allows.
Every sighted class gets a row. Every row gets a mile count, a weather note, a delay code if there was one. The numbers below are this season's running tally — incomplete by design, the way a rail enthusiast's notebook always is.
The panel reads from a feed that updates only when a headcode changes — never on a timer. So the page breathes slowly. So should you.
The archive accepts submissions: a class number, a location, a timestamp, and one sentence about the weather. Nothing more is required.
